The Saga Museum is a permanent, fan-built, and academically rigorous institution dedicated exclusively to Star Wars memorabilia, fandom history, and the cultural legacy of the franchise. It is designed to offer the real artifacts, the true stories, and the deep connections that only come from standing in front of the history that shaped our lives.

An initiative of Rancho Obi-Wan (a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit), this landmark project unites four of the world’s most historic, record-breaking private collections under one roof to lock down the single largest repository of Star Wars history on Earth:

THE VISION

We will bring together four of the world’s largest Star Wars collections, combining 1.5 million objects to create a unique, over-the-top, fun, fan experience in a NEW PUBLIC MUSEUM that will offer a galactic range of exhibits, programs, and amenities designed to INSPIRE and SERVE the world.

THE MISSION

To preserve and celebrate the history of Star Wars memorabilia and fandom, and to inspire visitors of all ages and backgrounds through the stories those artifacts tell by fostering joy, creativity, community, learning, and a sense of wonder that extends far beyond the walls of the museum itself.

THE FOUNDING COLLECTORS

Steve is Executive Chairman and Founder of Rancho Obi-Wan, former Lucasfilm Director of Content Management and Head of Fan Relations, Co-Host for 50 hours of Star Wars QVC Shows, Star Wars media representative, and author of 17 official Star Wars books.

 

Collection highlights: The Guinness World Records largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia, heavy on art, fan-made items, posters, ephemera, and historical documents. ~ 18,800 ft2

Gus is creator of the The Star Wars Collectors Archive website, Star Wars Celebration Collecting Track, author of multiple Star Wars articles and content for StarWars.com and Star Wars Insider magazine, and co-author of four Star Wars collectible books.

 

Collection highlights: An extensive collection of rare and one-of-a-kind items: original art, food items, toys, awards, crew items, and movie memorabilia ~ 3,500 ft2

 

Duncan has been a presenter at Star Wars conventions worldwide, author of multiple Star Wars articles and content for StarWars.com and Star Wars Insider magazine, and co-author of four Star Wars collectible books.

 

Collection highlights: One of the world’s largest and most complete collections, emphasizing international and categorical variety. ~ 5,000 ft2

 

Lisa is a former president, Official Star Wars Fan Club, and former Star Wars Brand Manager at Wizards of the Coast. Vic is a former associate editor, Star Wars Insider magazine.

 

Collection highlights: A broad collection, especially deep on three-dimensional items, modern toys, and high-end, limited edition collectibles ~ 14,000 ft2
